Try your hand at investigating the past in this family friendly archaeology workshop! There are lots of different types of archaeology, and all of them help us find out about people’s lives in the past. Whether it’s looking at cooking pots, diving down to shipwrecks, or using drones to survey large areas, archaeology has lots of different facets.

Join us at Folkestone Museum for our archaeology workshop, with lots of different activities including a pottery puzzle & mini-dig activity. Get hands-on with bones & find out what rubbish can tell archaeologists about life in the past!

Workshops run from 10.30-12.45 and 1.30-3.30. No need to book, just drop in when you’re ready!

All workshops are free but a small donation towards materials is appreciated.
