Carved chalk figures have a long history in Britain, dating back to the Bronze Age, and Folkestone itself has a white horse carved into the landscape overlooking the town. Join us at Folkestone Museum to create your own white horse and learn more about the history of carved chalk figures. Workshop runs from 10.30am-12.45pm and 1.30-3.30pm in the Education Room on the lower gallery. No booking required but if busy we may need to limit numbers.
