The Folkestone Research and Archaeology Group (or FRAG for short) are Folkestone’s local archaeology group. FRAG are involved with archaeological projects all over Kent, including the East Wear Bay Project run by Canterbury Archaeological Trust.
FRAG meets once a month on a Wednesday evening at Folkestone Museum to discuss what’s happening in our local area and get involved in different projects. In the summer, as well as getting stuck in with archaeology, the group often visit other archaeological and heritage sites. Through the year, they promote talks and other events happening across Kent.
