This February Half term, join us for Bug Buddies Week! We’re celebrating the insects around us which eat pests and other nasties and help humans out.
On Tuesday the 18th and Wednesday 19th, we’ll be making ladybird sun catchers. Ladybirds are our bug buddies. There are over 40 species of ladybird in the UK. They mostly eat aphids and scale insects, which damage plants.
On Thursday the 20th and Friday 21st, we’ll be making spider puppets! Spiders are very useful pest-controllers – they love eating flies, fleas and mosquitos.
This half term, we’re running four sessions a day of our craft activities at 10:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 14:30. Pick up your free timed ticket on the day at our reception desk to join a session.
