This May Half Term, join us to make Hedgehog Handprints on the 28th and 29th of May!
Hedgehogs live all over Britain, except on some of the Scottish islands (and they’re not keen on wet places or pine forests). Every hedgehog has over 5000 inch-long spines on their back, which they use to protect themselves. Baby hedgehogs are called hoglets! These wonderful creatures wander through our gardens at this time of year. Have you seen one yet?
Make your own hedgehog handprints with us at the Museum.
Our May half term workshops activities are designed for children and young people under 13. We’ll run four activity sessions a day at 10:30, 11:30, 13:30 and 14:30. When you arrive at the museum before your chosen session, please pick up your FREE timed ticket at the main reception desk! Tickets are first come, first served on the day – we don’t allow booking in advance. We cap workshop numbers at 15 participants (plus their adults) per workshop.
All workshops are free, but we’d appreciate a small donation towards materials.
