Join us at the museum for this week’s Make It! Family workshop, and make your own lacy Victorian photograph frame.

Queen Victoria wore lace on her wedding day and kicked off a new craze for the Victorians. Lace was once an expensive luxury made by skilled female crafters – but in the 19th century, mass produced lace was created. The Victorians used scraps of this cheaper lace everywhere, including in their home decorating! Join us to make your own lace decorated photo frame to take home (Victorian photograph not included!)

Sessions run from 10:30 to 12:45 and 1:30 to 3:30.
