Winter Birds Workshop

Join our Winter Birds workshop and learn more about the life cycle of birds! We have lots of bird specimens in our collection which show the amazing variety of birds you see in Folkestone.

The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch runs on the 24th-26th of January. Every year, the RSPB asks people across the UK to count the number of birds they see in their garden. We’ve lost 38 million birds from British skies since 1979. Every bird you count (or don’t count!) is important information to track how birds are faring this winter.
